A phase Ib study of Ipatasertib, an AKT inhibitor, in combination with Pertuzumab plus Trastuzumab in patients with PIK3CA-mutant, HER2-positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
This study looks at a new drug, ipatasertib, combined with standard treatments (Herceptin and Perjeta) for a specific type of advanced breast cancer. It aims to find the safest and most effective dose of ipatasertib for patients whose cancer has a particular genetic change (PIK3CA mutant) and a lot of HER2 protein.
