Volatile Sedation for Patients With the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome
This study looks at how different types of ongoing sedation affect breathing and lung health in seriously ill patients. We're comparing standard IV sedation with inhaled sedation, often used in surgery, to see which helps patients on breathing machines breathe better and protect their lungs.
