Transfer of metformin into human breast milk and the plasma of breastfeeding children - A low intervention trial with biobanking of breast milk and plasma in Västra Götalandsregionen and Region Örebro
This study looks at how much metformin, a diabetes medicine, passes into breast milk and then into a baby's blood. It's for breastfeeding mothers with type 2 or gestational diabetes who take metformin, to see if the medicine affects their baby.
